Showrags was set up to make sorting show clothing easier... and also to raise funds for Divergence, a registered charitable company working with neurodivergent people and their whānau.

Aside from our work in psychology and training, we are developing community-based opportunities that increase inclusion for neurodivergent people to take part in ordinary social activities.

Many neurodivergent people want to join in, create, perform, learn and connect, but standard group settings can create barriers. Sensory load, unclear expectations, social pressure, communication style, confidence and executive-function demands can all make participation harder than it needs to be. Divergence Life works with existing community providers to add the missing support layers.

When you buy through Showrags, a small percentage of the sale price for each item (a bit like a ticket booking fee) goes to Divergence to help grow this work.
